Honorable Mention
The long and winding road
DESCRIPTION
On the only road that leads you to the Upper Mustang region of Nepal you are have a constant companion in the form of the Nilgiri range which stands at just over 7000m. The mountain range which is the end of Anna-Purna dominates the skyline and it seems to be forever covered in snow. It provides a stunning backdrop to what is already an unworldly landscape.
An early start was required to drive from the local guest house to a viewpoint that I knew. Here you have the mountain range in the background along with a winding road that goes to, I believe, Dolpo although it hasn't been finished.
Shot with a Canon R5 with a Canon 24-70mm EF Mark II f2.8 along with a Kase Filters polarizer.
