The manager of MED, a company in Cervia that manufactures inflatable boats for the military and professional market, opens the sliding doors to show me the devastation caused by the May 2023 flood in Emilia-Romagna, a region in northeastern Italy. Expensive electronic equipment, cutting plotters, rendered useless. A company that produces boats to tackle water was halted by water itself.
