DESCRIPTION
With portraits, you can end up shooting dozens of shots of the same pose, facial expressions, and compositions. Sometimes, the photos can look all the same, sometimes they can feel fake or unnatural. This photo is special to me, because there wasn't a pose, it wasn't set up. I was testing focus, or maybe I accidentally pressed the shutter. I took this photo by accident, and it feels authentic, unpretentious, and powerful. AUTHOR
