DESCRIPTION
"Release" is a series of photographs focused on the feeling of freedom. The freedom to be fully yourself and to embrace the present moment. To illustrate this idea I wanted intense colors and dynamic movements.

This image of Alicia was taken in May 2023 on the Espiguette beach of Grau-du-Roi in France.
AUTHOR
It may surprise but I have four first names. Chaemi is the contraction of my first name Charline, the one i use in everyday life, and my second first name Émilie. From as far as i remember, I have always been creative. As a child, I spent my time drawing, I had my first camera when I was teenager and today, as an adult, I'm a graphic designer. Being the only one in my family to have this artistic fiber, I have always wondered if this passion was innate or if I had inherited it from someone. Simultaneously of my studies and then my day job, I always had fun creating for myself or for others. I first collaborated with content creators on their visual identities then I did two exhibitions, one for my watercolor paintings and the other for my travel photos of Asia, and now I do portrait photography as a self-employed. I cannot imagine my life without creating art with my hands, that's what drives me deep in my being. I hardly known my maternal grandfather, he fled with a woman when I was little and we didn't hear any news. He got sick three years ago and he ended up reconnecting with our family but I only had the chance to see him twice before he died. Yet we had a lot to share, because it turns out that it is my greatfather Émile, painter and photographer in his spare time, that I have inherited my passion for art. So even if I didn't really knew him, I think of him very often when I create.
