This image is from my ongoing personal project The Dark SeriesFor this image I wanted to depict the most upsetting moment in Medusas life when her curse took away not only her beauty but also the one that she truly loved. The owl is a representation of Athena who placed the curse onto Medusa which is why the owl is unaffected.
