Erosion
DESCRIPTION
Covehithe beach in Suffolk has the dubious distinction of being the most eroded beach in Britain. It's littered with trees that have fallen from the crumbling clifftops. The coastline is eroding at a rate of 4.5m a year, and it's estimated that within the next 100 years the village of Covehithe will be lost to the sea.
