The last confession
Anthony Sala, France
The last confession
DESCRIPTION
«The last confession» is a series of photos on places of worship in France and Italy left to abandon. Buildings with impressive architectures often present for decades and decades, reign on our earth. The interior remains a true architectural spectacle filled with details, paintings but especially emotions frozen in time.

For some places, it is time to nature take back these rights, creating soil of vegetation, crack and mold everywhere in the buildings. Here is the tragic end of this place, once a gathering place, which no longer attracts anyone ...

The last confession has arrived.
AUTHOR
Anthony Sala, better known by the pseudonym “le_decay”, has been a passionate explorer photographer since 2016. He frequently travels the roads of France and Europe, driven by the desire to discover and capture the forgotten heritage of humanity. Its objective is to offer the general public striking photographs of an abandoned heritage, where nature gradually regains its rights.

The architecture and details left behind by decay, mold and abandonment are particularly attractive. For him, these abandoned places are imbued with a unique beauty and testify to a bygone era that may never be lost.

Through his photographs, he takes us on a captivating journey through these places full of history and mystery. Armed with its Sony A7 camera and its Samyang 14mm f/2.8 lens, it manages to capture with finesse and sensitivity the traces of time that mark these delightful architectures.

Accompany Anthony in his explorations and be enchanted by the visual testimonies he offers, revealing the soul of these forgotten places. Together, let’s go to discover a fascinating heritage, which testifies of an era gone but still alive through my photographs.

Let’s go together to discover the delightful architectures, on the traces of time.
