DESCRIPTION
I photographed wild animals for the first time in Hokkaido at the end of 2023. On that day, I set out to take photos just after 5am. It was -17 degrees Celsius and I continued to shoot from pitch black until dawn. For the first time, I realized how difficult the environment in which to photograph wild animals is. But there are more moving parts than that. The flock of cranes is spectacular, just as they meet the morning mist, and the glistening snow-covered trees make it seem like they are living in a fairyland. . It makes you feel the beauty of nature deeply. I think this may be one of the joys of photography.
