Nude wisdom in the jungle
DESCRIPTION
The evocative tableau of symbolism and storytelling features Dorka, an experienced and talented model from the Czech Republic. Framed against a lush, jungle-like backdrop of plastic leaves, the picture is meant to transcend mere visual representation and delve into profound layers of meaning and interpretation. In this composition, Dominika's nude body is delicately rendered, with only the sensual curves of her breasts visible, ensuring the focus remains on the narrative rather than eroticism. The technique of multiple exposure conjures her presence threefold, embodying the ancient wisdom of the three wise monkeys: "see no evil," "hear no evil," and "speak no evil." Her hands cover her eyes, ears, and mouth respectively, inviting viewers to ponder the contemporary relevance of these timeless gestures.
Rich in contrasts, the picture juxtaposes the natural beauty of the model with an artificial, constructed jungle. This interplay between the organic and the synthetic underscores a tension between reality and illusion. The backdrop of plastic leaves evokes an air of artifice, challenging the viewer to discern what is genuine and what is fabricated. Through the magic of multiple exposure, Dominika seems to merge with the jungle, her body becoming one with the verdant scenery, adding an ethereal mystery to the picture.
Though Dominika's nudity could have been the focal point, it is the story she tells that captivates the viewer. " Nude wisdom in the jungle" is a visual narrative that beckons the audience to explore the intricate dance of symbolism and contrast, reflecting on the profound human desire for connection and understanding.
AUTHOR
Eric is a French amateur photographer who is often considered an artist due to his international awards and his distinctive approach to nude photography. For over 20 years, he has explored the sensual beauty of the female form. Germany, Hungary, and Croatia are the main countries where he creates his art.His pictures have been printed in respected magazines, books, and catalogues from contests and exhibitions, and have also been shown in four exhibitions - both solo and group - highlighting his presence within the photography community. Eric’s artistic development has been shaped by collaborations and mentorships - from early technical training with German photographer Arboulan to a deepening artistic sensibility under Hungarian artists Szeni Jung and Sandor Benkoe, who continues to coach him.
Eric’s approach combines refined technique with emotional depth. While he has done a great deal of studio work in the past, he now prefers to shoot outdoors, embracing natural light. His style transcends conventional eroticism to feature models in stories and narratives that don’t focus on nudity, while both revealing and concealing their nude form.
Having worked with over 100 amateur models, Eric’s work is a passionate dialogue between artist and model, where sensuality and emotional truth meet. The best way to describe his passion is through the words of Richard Avedon: “If a day goes by without my doing something related to photography, it’s as though I’ve neglected something essential to my existence, as though I had forgotten to wake up.”
