The puffed-up girl is an interpretation of the contemporary image of young people who, due to the widespread and easy availability of many of the goods of civilisation, find it increasingly difficult to be satisfied with what they have and the world in which they live. All sorts of things satisfy only for a while, and the lack of new stimuli causes rebellion and dissatisfaction.
