The gaze of pelican
DESCRIPTION
A pelican at rest meets my gaze and assumes a posture like in a painting from the Flemish School of the 15th century. AUTHOR
Drawing and B&W photography (development and printing) punctuated my daily life during my first twenty-five years. The discovery of oil painting, which I practiced for a little over two decades, opened up other horizons for me, notably synthetism and abstraction. For a dozen years my creative work has been mainly oriented towards digital photography; I create images where dreaminess and timelessness combine, sprinkled with a touch of poetry and romanticism.
