Dance Like No One’s Watching
DESCRIPTION
While I was out watching and photographing migratory birds along the California coast, I discovered a marsh preserve adjacent to a beach. Little did I know that it is the only extensive wetland along the coast of the San Francisco Peninsula. The beauty and elegance of this Long-billed Curlew really grabbed my attention. When this bird finally landed in the lagoon after circling around the marsh, it held wings up, long legs running on the water in what looks like a beautiful dance.
