DESCRIPTION
This work belongs to my main artistic project, Micro Landscapes, in which I craft a scenery and afterwards take a picture of it in my home studio. My intent is building (not capturing) an image able to lead the viewer into a dreamy state of calm, in a world beyond the ordinary, at the same time real and made up.
The narration that I bring forward is a silent one, made of absent presences.
AUTHOR
I'm an Italian-born artist who has wandered through the vibrant streets of Milan, London, and Madrid. With a background in photography, a passion for illustration, and a love for digital manipulation, I weave together surreal compositions that transcend reality. As an artist, I love to explore the art of crafting miniature landscapes using everyday materials such as paper, felt, acrylic paint, and more. I assemble these scenes, infusing them with a sense of enchantment and whimsy. Once the miniature landscape is completed, I transfer it into my home photography studio, where I capture its essence through the lens of my camera.
I have a deep passion for depicting vast open spaces, such as rolling hills, meadows, or expansive seascapes, that exude tranquillity and solitude.I love portraying solitary elements within the landscapes—a lone tree standing on a hill, a deserted cottage nestled in a remote valley, or a hot air balloon flying in the sky.
My intention is to invite viewers to immerse themselves in a moment of introspection and contemplation when they encounter my art.
