AUTHOR
My first camera came into my life when I was 13. Curiosity turned into a lifelong passion for photography, which has been a central part of my life for 21 years now.At 17, I participated in my first group exhibition in my hometown during an arts festival. By 20, I moved to Saint Petersburg to study at the University of Culture and Arts, focusing on portrait photography.
In 2014, I won recognition as a laureate in the "Young Photographers of Russia" competition. My works were featured in the Photography Biennale at the Russian State Museum in 2014 and 2018, included in exhibition catalogs and the museum archive.
I held solo exhibitions titled "Muses" and "What People Look Like" in 2015 and 2016, with "Muses" being my graduation project. I graduated from the Department of Cinematography and Photography in 2015, subsequently focusing on individual portrait shoots and teaching.
In 2016, I won the Grand Prix at the "Monochrome Awards." In 2022, I spoke at TEDxSPbPu Talks and moved from Russia to Georgia, where I run a photo studio and continue my portrait work.
Recently, I took 3d place in the international competition "Out from the Mist," focusing on mental health. My works will be exhibited in Australia.
I describe my art as "artistic documentation of reality," concentrating on self-reflection and observation of the human body.
