Resurrection
DESCRIPTION
Last year I had the opportunity to photograph the paintings of a fantastic, almost forgotten impressionist/expressionist painter. This academic painter lived from the German empire into the 1960ties. His painting Resurrection was destroyed by the Nazis as degenerate Art and he was forbidden to publish. He repainted it after the war. I merged this picture with a picture of a more than 300 year old oak tree as a symbol of his perseverance in difficult times. AUTHOR
