I have always been fascinated by the connections humans can have with other creatures. In this portrait my aim was portraying this connection in one shot. On purpose, I was aiming to capture a photo when the stick insect was touching the lips with its teeny tiny arms. This alignment was semi-accident as they were gently moving around on the face, neck and shoulders. So happy I could finally take a photo to be able to have the surprise look on the face and at the same time beautiful alignment of the insects on the skin.

Tasmania-based artist photographer who is enjoying contemporary and fine art portraits. Some with and some without concept. I do love spontaneous shoots with no planning to remove the load of extensive pre-planning energy and more focus on art.
