"After the Echo"
DESCRIPTION
"After the Echo", from the series What the Smoke Knows. This image belongs to a series in which smoke becomes a silent language—speaking from the invisible.
Singular forms emerge from the void like whispers from other worlds, fleeting apparitions that seem to carry memories of something distant and forgotten.
These shapes do not repeat, they do not return. They appear only once and then dissolve, as if the air carried secrets that cannot be spoken.
In the act of photographing, the intangible is held still.
What the smoke knows cannot be said: it appears for an instant… and never returns.
In "After the Echo", only the trace of a presence remains—a faint figure suspended between appearance and silence.
AUTHOR
I am Virvatra, an amateur photographer passionate about experimental photography. I’m drawn to exploring the world around me to discover other possible worlds through my camera. I’m especially fascinated by playing with light, color, textures, and shapes, as in my smoke series, where I seek to capture the intangible and suggest new realities. I believe photography is a language for expressing emotions and personal visions, and a medium to connect with those who take the time to look beyond the obvious. My intention is to keep learning, creating, and sharing my unique way of seeing the world.
