Street Flowers 4
DESCRIPTION
“Street Flowers 4” explores the ephemeral, ever-changing nature of being. Photographed at a flower stand on the Upper West Side, the image was reshaped through layered composition, selective isolation, and calibrated shifts in color and light. The resulting visual collage evokes the protean beauty of the flowers, and, by extension, the transient, recurring beauty of all things. AUTHOR
Sam Rittenberg lives and works in New York City and the Dominican Republic. His primary focus is on photography’s ability to explore the paradoxical interplay between the finite and the infinite. He is guided by the belief that every image holds the potential to serve as a portal to that which ordinarily lies beyond us.
