Room 1920
DESCRIPTION
Room 1920 is not a set from the past — it’s an anomaly that remembers. Inside this room, time collapses: past and present overlap until identity itself becomes unstable. The flapper is not just a woman from the 1920s. She’s a presence, a memory that takes form only within this space — a portal where the echoes of an era return as fragments of light and reflection.
Through mirrors, letters and objects, the series explores the idea that memory is alive and the past never truly disappears.
Each photograph represents a different stage in this temporal loop — the awakening, the fracture, the multiplication, and the final dissolution into light.
Room 1920 combines fine-art portraiture and conceptual storytelling, inspired by the aesthetics of silent cinema, art-deco interiors, and the surreal tension of David Lynch’s dreamscapes.
The result is a visual dialogue between nostalgia and contemporary perception — a reminder that time, like memory, is never linear.
