Comfort Zone
DESCRIPTION
The “comfort zone” appears here as a place full of contradictions – what is soft and safe can also become a cage, restricting movement and growth. The figure rising above the layers of duvets symbolizes an attempt to transcend what is familiar and secure, while at the same time embodying the weight that keeps one in place. Is comfort true freedom or rather a subtle form of imprisonment?
Photographed during the @plener_sanatorium workshops. Model: Dominika Sieńko.
