"Kumbh Mela"
DESCRIPTION
After taking early morning bath in Sacred River on auspicious day of Mauni Amavasya during Kumbh Mela at Prayagraj(India), pilgrims from the state of Bihar, taking rest on the banks of river. Pilgrims believe that bathing in the Sacred Rivers during the Kumbh Mela, especially at specific auspicious times, cleanses them of sins and negative karma. AUTHOR
Tarun chhabra is a documentary, travel & fine art photographer based in New Delhi.Since last 28 years he is pursuing many self initiated projects which includes Street Children, Monsoon, Women in religion, Children in religion, Rural India, Sacred India and fairs & Festivals of India.
His works are exhibited in 12 solo & 9 group exhibitions across the world.
Some of his works are in permanent collection of San Diego Museum of Art, California and Essl Museum, Austria.
Recently he was invited as a jury member for the photo contest organised by ministry of culture, Government of India.
