"Conversations in Color"
DESCRIPTION
A meditation on the dialogue between color and form. The warm coral drape meets the cool serenity of green glass and violet vessels, creating a tension that resolves in harmony. The clock and open book invite reflection on time and observation—reminders that color, like life, is both fleeting and enduring. Every object becomes a participant in a quiet symphony of contrast, rhythm, and balance. AUTHOR
I am a retired physician with more than forty-two years of clinical experience who has devoted my post-medical career to fine-art photography. Since beginning photography in 2019, I have developed a distinctive body of work rooted in painterly, classical still life and floral composition. I explore themes of time, fragility, and reflection, blending symbolic objects—flowers, glassware, clocks, and candlelight—with subtle chiaroscuro and color harmonies inspired by Old Master paintings.Since joining 1x.com in 2020, I have had 194 images published and 14 awarded. My work also appears on YouPic, 500px, 100ASA, and on my curated site "flowers4allseasons.com". I offer my floral gallery freely to elder and nursing-home audiences and will soon publish a coffee table book “To every thing there is a season…”.
Drawing from both scientific precision and artistic sensitivity, my photography represents an ongoing search for harmony between beauty, form, and meaning—revealing the quiet poetry found in stillness and time.
