Yang Tsan Jung is a Taiwan-based photographer, visual artist, and spatial designer whose creative work spans photography, painting, and experiential design. His artistic practice is rooted in a deep sensitivity to nature, light, texture, and the quiet emotional moments that often go unnoticed. Through his images, Yang seeks to evoke a sense of stillness, nostalgia, and poetic reflection in a fast-paced world.Yang holds a Master’s degree in Commercial Design from Chung Yuan Christian University in Taiwan, a program known for its interdisciplinary approach that blends artistic sensibility with strategic thinking. His academic background in both painting and interior design has profoundly shaped his visual language—combining spatial awareness, compositional balance, and a painterly understanding of light and color. This foundation allows him to approach photography not merely as documentation, but as a form of expressive, emotional storytelling.
Deeply inspired by Eastern philosophies—particularly the Japanese concepts of wabi-sabi (the beauty of imperfection) and mono no aware (the pathos of impermanence)—Yang’s work often revolves around themes of nature, transience, and memory. He finds beauty in delicate moments: a fleeting light across a petal, the softness of dawn, or the quiet rhythm of falling leaves. His artistic goal is not to overwhelm the viewer, but to invite them inward—toward calm, awareness, and a gentle sense of being.
