No More Flowers
DESCRIPTION
Some stories are best told without a single rose. The vase holds the flowers, the memories hold me captive. Beyond the bouquet, the final arrangement where hope once grew. AUTHOR
Pierre Burnaugh (b. 1964) Chicago, has always been fascinated and passionate about photography from an early age. Largely self-taught, Pierre also studied Photography at Chicago's Columbia College's highly acclaimed program. Additionally, he considers the fortune of two intensive workshops during the early nineties as key in honing his aesthetic direction and considerations in working with the nude. One with Ralph Gibson at his Soho studio and another with Lucien Clerque. Although he has worked professionally in photojournalism, he currently works mainly with the art nude and portraiture.
