DESCRIPTION
This work is inspired by Thomas Mann's masterful novella "Death in Venice." It addresses the aging of the artist. A condition that also touches me and is reflected in my current work.Gustav von Aschenbach, the protagonist of the novella, feels the fading of his creative power, but also that of his sexuality. With his trip to Venice, he hopes to escape this crisis. The dream novella ends unfulfilled.
