DESCRIPTION
This photograph was taken during an anti-ICE protest in Los Angeles, June 2025. The protester lying in the street had positioned herself deliberately, with the flag at her side, facing a wall of armed officers. A moment earlier, another protester had skated circles around her with the flag raised, creating a silent performance of resistance. AUTHOR
I’m a photographer and storyteller focused on identity, and resilience. My work often centers on human rights and spiritual subcultures, including recent portraits of Sadhus in India and anti-Trump demonstrators in the U.S. Before turning to photography full-time, I worked as an actor and activist. Those experiences shape the emotional tone of my portraits and the pacing of my documentary work. I tend to seek the unique non-polished moments.
I live in Los Angeles and began submitting my work publicly for the first time in March 2025.
