Honorable Mention

Homage to Lyonel Feininger 'Church in Erfurt'
DESCRIPTION
Around 1925, Lyonel Feininger painted several pictures of the Barfüßerkirche, one of which is kept in the Angermuseum in Erfurt and another in the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart. The pictures fascinated me so much that I wanted to create a photographic art picture as a tribute to Lyonel Feininger AUTHOR
"It is an illusion that photos are taken with a camera... they are taken with the eye, the heart and the head." Henri Cartier-BressonFrank Schasse is an architect and has been passionate about photography since his student days. He uses photography to express his creativity. Seeing plays a decisive role for him. The transformation of what is seen into a new image, into which moods and feelings flow. A very exciting process. Photographic art in particular offers many possibilities. Impressionism often serves as a model for him.
