Dolorosa
DESCRIPTION
In the cold, steel-blue light, a woman's face emerges—suffering, terrified, yet strangely calm. Her skin has the shade of porcelain, almost translucent in this chilly lighting. The woman's gaze is suspended in space, not in a gesture of hope, but of despair and silent pleading. Her eyes shine, but fade from within. In the background, a blurred darkness, as if the entire world had ceased to exist, leaving only her and her pain. The foam—clean, sterile—contrasts with the psychic filth; it doesn't wash away the pain. It irritates because it reminds us that the body can be washed, but emotions cannot. It's the image of someone who doesn't know if she still feels anything, or if she has already stopped. The woman doesn't scream. She doesn't cry violently. She is frozen. AUTHOR
Ewelina Anna Gadulska, based in Poznań, Poland. In love with fashion, portrait and fine art photography.I have always been intrigued by people, their outfits and the creation of different realities. In my work, I am inspired by the world created on the pages of books and movies which allows me to approach topics that interest me in unique way. I love working with people, thanks to whom I learn new, valuable things every day. I constantly chase my ideas to show what I think deserves its own big show, both in fashion photography, which I love, and in fine art photography, which allows me to free my imagination without limits.
