What struck me in Athens was the stark contrast between the grandeur of Ancient Greece and the characterless modern architecture. In this image, the Acropolis, bathed in artificial light, watches over the city below. Yet, despite their mundane, matchbox-like forms, the buildings echo the rhythm of the ancient ruins, finding an unexpected resonance across time. AUTHOR
