DESCRIPTION
The Holy Fire Ceremony takes place on the second weekend of Passover. During the ceremony, a prayer is performed after which a fire is lit inside the aediculae where some believe the Tomb of Jesus may have been located. According to the belief, the fire emerges miraculously and is lit by the Holy Spirit.This picture is from the Ethiopian Church in Jerusalem
