Against the Wind
DESCRIPTION
In a dry, wind-swept landscape, a woman stands—still, yet full of movement. Her hair blows across her face, obscuring identity and inviting interpretation. The image plays with contrasts: strength and vulnerability, presence and blur. It’s a quiet study of resilience in a harsh environment—a portrait without facial expression, told through posture, light, and landscape. AUTHOR
I’m Aline, a photographer specializing in conceptual fashion, portrait, and editorial photography. My work merges aesthetics with attitude: beauty can provoke thought, and style can carry social critique. My visual language is often staged, precisely composed, and bold in color—but never without a second layer of meaning. I love working with contrasts: color and emptiness, glamour and consumerism, poise and vulnerability.I’m currently preparing for my Master Photographer exam. In my latest series, I explore themes such as consumer culture, female self-image, and the aesthetics of “too much.” Fashion, for me, is a stage—not just for representation, but as a means of expression.
My visual style is shaped by classic studio setups, graphic clarity, and precise lighting—always leaving space for playfulness, humor, or irony. I collaborate with real-life designers and labels, and I also create conceptual "campaigns" that treat fashion as a medium, not a product.
I speak to an audience of confident, style-conscious women and individuals who see more in an image than just a pose. People who reflect on aesthetics—or simply appreciate the power of a strong visual.
