DESCRIPTION
The Venus from the painting La Primavera by Sandro Botticelli has been removed from its context and reinterpreted. While Botticelli's goddess of love is framed by the goddess of plants and the goddess of spring, she now stands independently in the center of the picture and looks like a benevolent representation of Mary. The addition of bold colors and spring blossoms, on the other hand, gives her a mysterious and erotic touch that invites the viewer into a new world to be discovered.
AUTHOR
High school art teacher. For many years painting, prints and assemblages were my main area of interest in art. For several years I have been engaged only in photography and besides digital, artistic processing of photos on the computer.
