DESCRIPTION
The image is from the series Deconstructed Landscapes which examines the footprint left behind by humans. Each image is a series of 9 frames which each has been printed, manipulated physically, scanned and repeated. The frames are then digitally put together and printed as one image at 17inx22in to show the progression of decomposition and damage over time. AUTHOR
Shellye Tow has had an interest in art from the time she was a child. She grew up loving to sketch and that Developed into a deep interest in the arts with a focus in photography.She will graduate with her Bachelors of Fine Art in Photography from The Art Institute in Dallas in September 2017. Her fine art projects focus in social and environmental issues as well as inner conflicts faced by many. Her work is influenced by Francesca Woodman, Robert Adams, Cindy Sherman, Thomas Barrow and Toshio Shibata.
