This is one self-portrait photo from my recent photography project, which I name it "A Room of Her Own". In this series, I took analogue photos and use HER as a subject to explore female identity. When I was a girl, I remembered picturing the future of being far away from home, living independently and finding my true love, the ideal happy episode. However, as life goes on, i begin to feel the complexity of the real world----relationships with the opposite sex, the pressure to lead a steady life, the anticipation from parents and etc. In different stages of my life, I've been facing and talking to the uncertainty in the bottoms of my heart and SHE has been, which I believe, doing the same thing.
