The Walled Off Hotel
DESCRIPTION
The differences between Bethlehem and Jerusalem are stark. On the other side, the grass is literally greener. Shot on 4/2/2017 from atop a Palestinian refugee camp behind the Israeli West Bank Barrier, children are resigned to playing in trash with "Eden" just out of reach. While covering the opening of Banksy's Walled Off Hotel in Bethlehem, a Bedouin guide brought me into this camp to meet its people. This is the view that so many disenfranchised Palestinians see from the rooftop. AUTHOR
