Honorable Mention
Symmetry of Wind
DESCRIPTION
In the early spring of this year, I invited my sister Mackenzie to join me and my husband on a camping trip to Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. We awoke before dawn and climbed up and over boulders on the Bear Fence Mountain trail. As I took Mackenzie’s portraits atop the mountain, the harsh and cold wind painfully blew against our faces, but the beauty of its wild movement complemented not only our eccentric artisan hearts, but life’s perfect symmetry.
