Pescadores del alba / Dawn fishermen
DESCRIPTION
When I was alone in front of the morning twilight, I enjoyed the sunrises of Africa, which are of outstanding beauty: they dye the landscape of caramel colors that degrade into a rich range of golds.
I have gone down to the barges, at dawn, and I have traveled them from end to end. Under the improvised awnings that protect them from the fierce sun, the small stalls full of merchandise extend along with the two huts. In the center of the barges, the men organize their lives in their luggage, they spread the mats where they sleep at night, and there are naked children, elderly people with tired faces and girls who fix each other's hair.
On the masts, clothes spread out to dry.
All the space on the barges is used to the millimeter.
