DESCRIPTION
Located in north-eastern Brazil, the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park is filled with water over the rainy season to form crystal clear lagoons between sand dunes. The vast scale of this 1550 km² landscape is emphasised against the human scale of the tourists that frequent the park when water levels are at their highest.
