Colorful Darknesses - Nature
DESCRIPTION
Colorful Darknesses is a photographic series where I plunge a subject into darkness and I reveal it by colorful light installations. The work of composition, which mixes the treatment of the subject, the play of colors, shadows and lights propose other intentionality to the public. Shapes can be precise or reduced to linear expressions, bordering on abstraction. These unreal forms ask the observer a particular application so that, little by little, by the imagination and the attention of the glance, the subject is revealed.
This different artistic orientation takes me away from the usual clichés and stereotypes associated with photography, prevents me from falling into a too raw natural and brings an inventive originality.
My work is the result of the eye of the photographer: I imagine the final result that I want to obtain and, for that, I move the model, the set of lights, and I search the best photographic composition. I do not add lighting in post-production.
Through my unique approach that shows this subject, at first glance banal, in a new and different perspective, the change of the spectator’s gaze can continue.
Thanks to modern techniques and my singular artistic approach, I propose a new and surprising direction to photography where graphics, aesthetics and voluptuousness combine to offer a dreamlike and surprising vision.
