This photo is from the famous Hornbill festival that takes place every year at Nagaland, India. The colorful Hornbill festival is all about bringing awareness and preservation of bio-diversity along with the display of rich diverse culture and traditions of Nagaland. It's a myriad of cultures that makes the experience of the festival so much more colorful and vibrant. Naga tribes men and women dress up beautifully in their locally weaved clothes, head gears, jewelry and other intricacies all throughout the festival. AUTHOR
My name is Arpan Uzir, 26, born and brought up in Assam, India with a degree in Civil Engineering and passion for travel and photography. I am fortunate to invest more time into photography, travelling and capturing stories from the places I visit and people I meet. I love landscape and nature but also covering my grounds in documentary and street photography.
