DESCRIPTION
My pictures explore moments of intimacy and vulnerability that arise out of a sensory engagement with the world, whether it’s the feel of dappled sunlight, dense forest, or human touch. Family vacations with my husband and adolescent sons easily transform into a psychic space of awakening in which I can glimpse their inner lives and relationships. Inspired by the natural world, art history and myth, everyday moments become turning points and reveal to me the beauty and inherent mystery of an adolescent boy's experience. AUTHOR
