Chaotic Cohesion
DESCRIPTION
"Chaotic Cohesion" is one of my first scanography experiments, associated to digital manipulation. The final aim is to mantain the physical and spontaneous features of the object and at the same time to create different shades of colour and a softer perception of decaying. AUTHOR
Manuela De Rosa was born in Rome, actually in its core, in the Trastevere area. Attracted to literature and philosophy, she starts acting and working as a flight attendant and tour leader. Analogue photography becomes her travelling companion, but she feels soon unsatisfied of a descriptive and technical use of the camera. After her university studies in foreign languages, she starts experiencing portrait and Live photography, mainly interested in personal research about the feminine emotional sphere and unconsciuous investigation. Performative experience through the different artistic media, lets unrational gaps manifest, so that photography turns into the way to share paths and catch something hidden underneath the surface. She graduates in Art Semiotics at Dams University in Bologna and takes part in experimental projects and publishing for blogs and magazines. She has collaborated with Arcana, Artwort, BBU Bologna Blog University, CUCO CulturaCommestibile, Artabout, DarkBeautyMagazine, Livornosera, Note. She lives in Rome.
