DESCRIPTIONThis photograph was taken in Hawaii, atop Mauna Kea during the sunset. The colors were specially amazing do to the the enormous amounts of vog remaining from the active volcano year. The moon peaked up as the ancestral shrine atop the mountain was shadowed.
AUTHORAfter studying Marine Science at university, Jess had the privilege of traveling and working in many realms surrounding the water. From non-profit work saving the reef, researching water quality, and guiding through the waters and trails of the Virgin Islands and Florida Keys, she was always inspired by the beauty of land and sea. Through her experiences one thing remained constant; her passion for photography. Enjoy the visuals captured during her ocean adventures and the fine art created from these moving experiences above and below the water line.
