Fire on the Horizon
DESCRIPTION
This shot came unexpectedly. I had been trying unsuccessfully to photograph a scene on the other side of the rock outcrop. As walked back to my vehicle, in the now almost dark, feeling slightly defeated, I felt a presence behind me and to my surprise this striking sky had developed. I fumbled around in the dark quickly setting up and capturing the shot. The visual lasted but a brief moment.
