Autumn Glow
DESCRIPTION
“Autumn Glow” was taken during a hike in the Bavarian Forest, near the Czech and Austrian border. The forests in this region are typically mixed forests, mainly spruce pine interspersed with leafy trees such as birch or elm. The month of November, when this image was taken, is typically cold, dark, and gloomy. You feel very lucky when you find a spot of bright colors in the otherwise dreary landscape, such as this tree still holding on to its leaves.
