Upward spiral
DESCRIPTION
The image shows the highest mine in Europe, Schneeberg, located in the South part of the Stubai Alps. The old mine equipment and the snowy mountains form the ideal basis for creativity in the context of mountaineering and mining. Re-arrangment of the elements uncovered on one hand a downward spiral leading us deep into the mountain, but on the other hand an upward spiral with fixed ropes which could take us to the highs and even higher. I am an enthusiast of outdoor activities like hiking and trekking, especially in the Alps but also in the great diverse wilderness and beautyful landscapes of the very far North. I have my camera always with me, to capture one and the other "magic" moment. I am an amateur photographer -without special trainings or edjucations in photography- but with a keen sense of the "special" moment.
