Honorable Mention
Kingfisher in the evening
DESCRIPTION
You need a lot of patience if you want to do photos of wildlife animals in Mid-Europe without useing a photo trap. You need a lot of camouflage for yourself and the equipment, have to be on location hours before and than you have to wait... This picture was an easy thing. After 10 minutes of waiting he appeared out of nowhere, sitting for 30 seconds and flew away. AUTHOR
I am an engineer born in 1964 in Germany. I started with photography at the age of 13. In terms of costs I used black and white films which I developed in my own laboratory. For family and job reasons I interrupted for a decade and restarted in 2008 with a digital equipment. But up to now I am always used my old 6 x 6 Hasselbad for black and white pictures. My focus is changing over the years from travel, people, still life, sport and wildlife.
