Trained as a painter in the studio with a BA in fine art, I have shown in numerous exhibits and art competitions in California winning awards and earning two signature awards, one from the Society of western Artists and another from the Pastel Society of the West Coast. When I retired I purchased my first digital camera and started to experiment with photography. I am mostly self taught and have taken online classes. I started entering my work in photo competitions and my photography has been shown in a number of international photo competitions with awards and exhibitions around the world. My photography has been published in books and magazines, PDN, Rangefinder and Shutter magazines and online with winning entries in the last few years.
Currently I am showing my photography in The Fence by Photowille, public outdoor park exhibit that travels to 8 cities in the US, including Canada until June of 2020.
