This project brings to life stories of contemporary Bay Area senior artists as I see them merging with their artworks and working environments. Working closely with the artists and listening to their life stories, I capturing their personalities in an environment emblematic for my understanding of their narratives. A large depth of field helps in balancing the artists against their art. Coordinating color and texture of the artists’ clothing with their artworks helps to reinforced the unique narrative of each artist.
