Alexander Buss
born on May 23rd 1958
I have been living and working in Cologne since 1985

Through the story of my grandfather as a scientist for physics and chemistry
worked and taught but then also researched photography in theory and practice
I taught photography very soon.
During school I took photographs for myself and for the school newspaper that I co-founded.
After my high school diploma and some trips and jobs, I moved to Dortmund and other places. studied photo design with Pan Walter1981- 1985 and graduated with exams. In parallel, I assisted the landscape and advertising photographer Walter Sack for 2 years.
Since 1985 he has worked independently with publishers and agencies in Cologne with Rainer Ehricke. Here we have Over 10 years of architecture orders realized across Europe. In 1995 we were one of the first studios to work completely digital.
In 1996 I was offered a teaching position at the Wuppertal University, which I held until 1999 in the fields of design, creative concepts and conceptions.
In 1999 Rainer Ehricke and I wrote and published a manual for digital photography on behalf of the MITP Verlag Bonn.
Over the years we have worked for various agencies and direct clients in the advertising area. I have realized photo orders and specialist articles for publishers.
In 2018 I decided to dedicate my main focus to my artistic work.
